COMPASS REAL ESTATE doo, Mažuranićevo šetalište 14, 21000 Split, Croatia, OIB: 04546963590 (hereinafter: Compass Real Estate ) processes personal data of users of its services and visitors to the website www.compass.hr in accordance with the applicable regulations governing the protection of personal data – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter: the General Regulation) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (OG 42/2018) (hereinafter: the Act).

We respect your privacy and process personal data fairly and lawfully, solely on the basis of valid legal grounds, i.e. in accordance with your consent for processing.

Compass Real Estate protects your privacy and processes only those personal data that are necessary for it and that are obtained as part of its business activities, for the following purposes:

* provision of mediation services in real estate transactions,

* organization of real estate viewings,

* preparation of offers and contracts,

* fulfillment of legal obligations,

* website performance improvements,

* protection of the legitimate interests of society ,

* sending notifications or marketing content, only if you have given consent.

b) Legal basis for processing

Estate processes personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

* execution of a contract or taking actions prior to concluding a contract,

* legal obligation,

* consent of the respondent.

If the processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Types of personal data we process

The personal data that Compass Real Estate collects depends on the purpose of the processing, which includes:

* information that you voluntarily provide in the contact form,

* information related to the property you want to buy, sell or rent,

* data collected through cookies .

Compass Real Estate does not collect special categories of personal data unless you provide it to Compass Real Estate yourself and there is a legal basis for doing so.

Personal data storage periods and recipients of personal data

a) Personal data storage periods

Estate only retains personal data for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.

Data collected via the contact form is kept for a maximum of two years from the last communication, unless there is another legal basis for longer storage.

Accounting and contractual documentation is kept within the deadlines prescribed by law.

b) Recipients of personal data

Compass Real Estate undertakes to protect your personal data and will not disclose or make it available to third parties without your specific permission, except when necessary, with the application of appropriate confidentiality and data protection measures:

Estate processes the collected personal data with the mandatory application of appropriate legal, technical and organizational security measures to prevent any unauthorized access, loss, destruction or misuse of personal data. Access to your personal data is limited only to those employees who need this information to provide our services. Compass Real Estate continuously educates its employees about the importance of data confidentiality and maintaining privacy and protecting your data. Compass Real Estate collects only the data that is necessary for the processing in question and does not keep it longer than necessary, i.e. as required by law or until your consent is withdrawn.

* correct incorrect data,

* request deletion of data,

* restrict processing,
